1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the individual accessing, viewing, or using the Edooka platform at edooka.in, hereinafter "you," "your," or "User") and Beverse Innovations Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at Galaxy, Building No. 43, Residency Road, Richmond Town, Bangalore North, Bangalore-560025, Karnataka, India ("Beverse Innovations," "we," "us," or "our").
Edooka is a brand operated by Beverse Innovations. These Terms govern your use of the Edooka website at edooka.in, any related mobile applications or platforms, and all services offered through them (collectively, the "Platform" and the "Services").
By accessing or using the Platform, by creating an account, or by purchasing any Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy, each of which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.
2. Definitions
"Account" means the personal record created when you register with the Platform.
"Assessment" means a skill assessment offered on the Platform, consisting of multiple-choice questions designed to evaluate knowledge in a specific subject area.
"Certificate" means a digital document issued by Edooka to a User upon successful qualification in an Assessment and completion of the applicable payment.
"Bundle Credit" means a credit toward issuance of one (1) Certificate, purchased as part of a Bundle of 3 or Bundle of 5 etc.
"Verification URL" means the public web address linked to a Certificate that allows third parties to verify the authenticity of the Certificate.
3. Eligibility and account registration
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
3.2 Account creation
To take an Assessment or purchase a Certificate, you must provide the following information at the start of each Assessment attempt:
- Full name (as you wish it to appear on the Certificate)
- Email address
- WhatsApp number (with country code)
- Profession or area of work
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information, and to update such information promptly if it changes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.3 Account security
If you suspect unauthorized access to your account or any breach of security, contact us immediately at support@edooka.in. We are not liable for any losses arising from unauthorized use of your account unless caused by our gross negligence.
4. Description of services
Edooka offers the following Services through the Platform:
- Free skill assessments: online multiple-choice assessments in various subject areas, typically fifteen (15) questions in length and approximately fifteen (15) minutes in duration. But it varies from assessment to assessment.
- Paid skill certificates: digital certificates issued to Users who qualify in an Assessment, available as single Certificates or as Bundle Credits (Bundle of 3 or Bundle of 5).
- Certificate verification: a public Verification URL associated with each Certificate that displays the recipient's name, the subject of the Assessment, the issue date, and the Certificate number.
We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service or feature at any time, with or without notice. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of material changes affecting Certificates you have already earned.
5. Nature of the Certificate (Important)
5.1 What the Certificate is
A Certificate issued by Edooka is a private skill validation document that records your performance in a specific Assessment offered on the Platform on the date of issuance. It is intended for use in your personal professional development, on your resume, on platforms such as LinkedIn, and in similar contexts where evidence of skill validation may be relevant.
5.2 What the Certificate is NOT
The Certificate is NOT a regulatory credit, license, or registration of any kind. It does NOT constitute Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Continuing Medical Education (CME), Continuing Nursing Education (CNE), or any similar regulatory credit. It is NOT endorsed by, accredited by, or affiliated with the National Medical Commission (NMC), the Indian Nursing Council (INC), the Medical Council of India (MCI), the Dental Council of India (DCI), the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the Allied and Healthcare Professions Council, the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH), the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), or any state professional council, government body, accreditation authority, or regulatory body in India or in any other jurisdiction.
The Certificate does not confer or substitute for any professional license, registration, accreditation, or qualification required to practice any profession. It does not authorize you to perform any regulated activity, hold yourself out as a licensed or registered practitioner, or claim any professional status that you do not otherwise hold by virtue of a separate license or registration.
5.3 No professional or clinical advice
The content of Assessments and any related materials on the Platform is provided for general professional development and educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical, clinical, legal, financial, or professional advice. You should not rely on Assessment content as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional in the relevant field.
5.4 Mandatory disclaimer
Every Certificate issued by Edooka includes, and you acknowledge and accept, the following disclaimer:
"This certificate validates skill competency for professional development. It is not a regulatory CPD/CME credit and is not endorsed by NMC, INC, MCI, or state professional councils. Issued by Beverse Innovations Pvt. Ltd. under the Edooka brand."
6. Assessment rules
6.1 Conduct during Assessments
Each Assessment is intended to be taken by you personally, without external assistance, in a single sitting. By starting an Assessment, you agree:
- To answer all questions honestly and based on your own knowledge
- Not to use any third-party assistance, including but not limited to other persons, websites, search engines, AI tools, books, or notes
- Not to share Assessment questions, answers, or any related content with any third party
- Not to attempt to copy, record, screenshot, or distribute Assessment content
- Not to take Assessments on behalf of another person, or allow another person to take an Assessment on your behalf
6.2 Scoring and qualification
- Pass threshold: you qualify if you answer correctly at least fifty percent (50%) of the questions in the Assessment, currently nine (9) out of eighteen (18) questions.
- Final result: Assessment results are final and not subject to negotiation, review, or appeal, except in cases of demonstrable technical error caused by the Platform.
- No disclosure of answers: we do not disclose the correct answers, the questions you answered correctly or incorrectly, or any percentage breakdown beyond the final qualified or not-qualified outcome.
6.3 Retry policy
If you do not qualify on an Assessment, you may retake it after a cooling-off period of twenty-four (24) hours. Each retry will draw a fresh randomized set of questions from the question pool for the relevant Assessment. There is no limit on the number of retries you may attempt, subject to the 24-hour cooling-off between attempts.
6.4 Technical issues
If you experience a verifiable technical issue caused by the Platform that prevents you from completing an Assessment, contact support@edooka.in within twenty-four (24) hours of the incident. We will investigate and, at our discretion, may permit you to retake the Assessment without charge. Issues arising from your device, internet connection, browser, or other factors outside our control are not eligible for this remedy.
7. Pricing and payment
7.1 Pricing
Current pricing for paid Services is displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase and is inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to revise pricing from time to time. Revisions will not apply retrospectively to purchases already completed.
7.2 Payment processing
All payments are processed through our third-party payment gateway, Cashfree Payments India Private Limited, or such other payment service provider as we may engage from time to time. By making a payment, you agree to the terms and conditions and privacy policy of the applicable payment service provider. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Card details are collected and processed directly by the payment service provider in accordance with applicable card network standards (such as PCI-DSS).
7.3 Invoicing
A GST-compliant invoice will be issued by Cashfree (or our applicable payment service provider) for each successful transaction. The invoice will be available in your account and sent to your registered email address.
7.4 Bundle Credits
- No expiry: Bundle Credits do not expire and may be redeemed against any active Assessment at any time, subject to availability.
- Non-transferable: Bundle Credits are linked to the account that made the purchase and cannot be transferred to another User.
- Non-redeemable for cash: Bundle Credits cannot be exchanged for cash. Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy.
8. Refunds
Refund eligibility and process are governed by our Refund Policy, available at edooka.in/refund-policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
9. Intellectual property
9.1 Our intellectual property
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to Assessment questions, answers, rationales, software code, design, graphics, logos, trademarks, trade names, brand elements, and the name "Edooka," is the exclusive property of Beverse Innovations Private Limited or its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws in India and worldwide.
9.2 Limited license
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use, including the right to download and use the Certificates issued to you for legitimate personal and professional purposes (such as sharing on LinkedIn or including in your resume).
9.3 Prohibited uses
You may not, and you may not permit any third party to:
- Reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any content on the Platform
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Platform
- Use any automated means, including bots, scrapers, or crawlers, to access or extract content from the Platform
- Use the Platform or any content in connection with any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice on the Platform or Certificates
- Use the Edooka brand, logo, or trademarks in any manner that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without our prior written consent
10. Certificate use, verification, and revocation
10.1 Use of Certificates
You may use Certificates issued to you for legitimate personal and professional purposes, including sharing on professional networks and including in resumes or CVs. You may not modify, alter, or misrepresent the contents of any Certificate.
10.2 Public verification
Each Certificate includes a unique Verification URL that allows any third party to verify its authenticity by viewing the recipient's name, the Assessment subject, issue date, and Certificate number. By accepting a Certificate, you consent to this limited public disclosure for verification purposes.
10.3 Revocation
We reserve the right to revoke a Certificate, with or without notice, if we determine that:
- The Certificate was obtained through fraud, misrepresentation, or violation of these Terms
- The User engaged in cheating, impersonation, or any prohibited conduct during the Assessment
- The User has misrepresented the nature, scope, or significance of the Certificate
- Revocation is required by law, court order, or regulatory authority
Revocation may involve removal of the Certificate record, invalidation of the Verification URL, and notification to relevant third parties. No refund will be provided for a revoked Certificate.
11. User conduct
You agree to use the Platform lawfully and respectfully. You agree NOT to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose
- Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or any other personal information
- Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other Users' accounts, or any related systems or networks
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform, including by introducing viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Use the Platform in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Platform or interfere with another User's use
- Harvest, collect, or store personal data about other Users
- Engage in any activity that violates applicable law, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules thereunder
12. Disclaimers
The Platform and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or virus-free
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of Assessment content or any other information on the Platform
- Warranties that the Certificate will be recognized, accepted, or relied upon by any employer, regulatory body, professional council, or other third party
You acknowledge that you bear sole responsibility for evaluating the suitability of the Services and the Certificates for your purposes, and for any consequences of your use thereof.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- No indirect damages: we shall not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Aggregate cap: our total cumulative liability to you in connection with the Platform and Services, regardless of the cause of action, shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or Rs. 1,000, whichever is greater.
- Exclusions: the above limitations do not apply to liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including but not limited to liability for gross negligence, fraud, or willful misconduct.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Beverse Innovations, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of the Platform or Services
- Your violation of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the Refund Policy
- Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party
- Any misrepresentation by you regarding the nature, scope, or significance of any Certificate
15. Termination
15.1 Termination by you
You may stop using the Platform at any time. You may request deletion of your account by emailing support@edooka.in, subject to the data retention requirements set out in the Privacy Policy.
15.2 Termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, with or without notice, if:
- You violate these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the Refund Policy
- We suspect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity in connection with your account
- We are required to do so by law, court order, or regulatory authority
- We discontinue the Platform or any material part of it
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution provisions, will survive.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered Users by email and posted on the Platform with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
18. Dispute resolution
Before initiating any legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through informal negotiation, by contacting our Grievance Officer (see Section 19). If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days of such contact, either party may pursue legal remedies subject to Section 17.

The Grievance Officer will acknowledge your communication within seventy-two (72) hours and use reasonable efforts to resolve your grievance within fifteen (15) days, or such shorter timeline as may be required by applicable law.
20. Miscellaneous
20.1 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Beverse Innovations regarding your use of the Platform and Services, and supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings.
20.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
20.3 No waiver
No failure or delay by us in exercising any right under these Terms will operate as a waiver of that right. No single or partial exercise of any right will preclude any other or further exercise of that right or any other right.
20.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights and obligations under them without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
20.5 Notices
Notices to you may be given by email to the email address registered with your account or by posting on the Platform. Notices to us must be sent to support@edooka.in and, where required, to our registered office address.
20.6 Force majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government action, pandemic, internet or telecommunication failures, or denial-of-service attacks.
