1. Introduction
This Refund Policy ("Policy") sets out the circumstances under which Beverse Innovations Private Limited ("Beverse Innovations," "we," "us," or "our"), operating the brand and online platform Edooka at edooka.in (the "Platform"), will issue refunds for amounts paid by users ("you," "your," or "User") for services offered on the Platform. This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms and Conditions. By making a purchase on the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Policy.
2. What you are purchasing
Edooka offers skill assessments and, upon successful qualification, the option to purchase a digital skill certificate. Three purchase options are available:
- Single certificate: one (1) digital certificate for a single passed assessment.
- Bundle of three (3): credits for three (3) certificates, redeemable against any qualifying assessment.
- Bundle of five (5): credits for five (5) certificates, redeemable against any qualifying assessment.
Pricing is inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to revise pricing from time to time. Such revisions will not apply retrospectively to purchases already completed.
3. Refund eligibility
Summary: A full refund is available within 7 days of purchase only if no certificate has been claimed, downloaded, or delivered using your purchase. Once a certificate is issued and delivered, the purchase is final.
3.1 Single certificate purchases
Eligible for full refund if the request is received within seven (7) calendar days of purchase AND the certificate has not been generated, downloaded, or delivered to you via email or WhatsApp.
Not eligible for refund once the certificate has been generated, downloaded, or delivered, even if you have not opened the email or downloaded the file. Delivery is deemed complete upon dispatch to the email address and WhatsApp number provided during registration.
3.2 Bundle of three (3) and bundle of five (5) purchases
Eligible for full refund if the request is received within seven (7) calendar days of purchase AND no certificate credit from the bundle has been redeemed (i.e., no certificate has been generated, downloaded, or delivered using credits from the bundle).
Eligible for partial refund: if one or more, but not all, certificate credits from the bundle have been redeemed, no refund is available. Bundle credits are sold as a single package and individual credits cannot be refunded once any credit has been used.
Not eligible for refund if any certificate credit from the bundle has been redeemed, or if the request is received after seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase.
3.3 Failed and duplicate payments
If a payment fails or is duplicated due to a technical error and the certificate or bundle is not delivered to you, the amount will be automatically refunded to the original payment method within seven (7) to ten (10) business days. If you have not received an automatic refund within this timeframe, please contact support@edooka.in with your transaction details.
3.4 Disputed or unauthorized transactions
If you believe a transaction was made on your account without your authorization, contact us immediately at support@edooka.in and your bank or card issuer. We will investigate such claims in coordination with our payment gateway partner. Refunds in such cases will be processed based on the outcome of the investigation and applicable law.
4. Non-refundable situations
The following situations do NOT qualify for a refund:
- You did not pass the assessment and chose not to retake it
- You changed your mind after the certificate was generated or delivered
- You provided incorrect contact details (email or WhatsApp number) and did not receive the certificate
- You misunderstood the nature or scope of the certificate (skill validation, not CPD or CME credit)
- You disagree with the difficulty level, content, or specific questions in an assessment
- You experienced technical difficulties due to your device, internet connection, or browser, and were unable to complete the assessment
- You purchased a bundle and were unable to use all the credits within your preferred timeline (note: bundle credits never expire)
- The request was received more than seven (7) days after the date of purchase
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Send an email to support@edooka.in from the email address registered on your account.
- Include the following details in your email:
- Full name (as registered)
- Email address and WhatsApp number used at registration
- Transaction ID and date of purchase (available in your payment confirmation)
- Reason for the refund request
We will acknowledge your refund request within seventy-two (72) hours and respond with a decision within five (5) business days. If your request is approved, the refund will be processed within seven (7) to ten (10) business days to the original payment method used for the purchase. Refund timelines depend in part on your bank or card issuer. While we process refunds promptly, it may take additional time for the refund to reflect in your account.
6. Refund decision
Beverse Innovations reserves the right to make the final decision on all refund requests, applying this Policy fairly and consistently. Where eligibility is unclear, we will give reasonable consideration to the circumstances of your request. Repeated refund requests from the same user, requests that appear to be fraudulent, or requests made in bad faith may be declined.
7. Bundle credits
Bundle credits (purchased as part of a Bundle of 3 or Bundle of 5) have the following characteristics:
- No expiry: bundle credits do not expire and can be used at any time, as long as Edooka continues to operate the Platform.
- Non-transferable: credits are linked to your registered account and cannot be transferred to another user.
- Non-redeemable for cash: credits cannot be exchanged for cash, vouchers, or refunds once any credit from the bundle has been redeemed.
- Applicable across the catalog: credits can be used on any active assessment in the Edooka catalog, present or future, subject to availability.
8. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you believe a refund is due to you, we strongly encourage you to contact us first at support@edooka.in. Filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first attempting to resolve the matter with us may result in:
- Suspension or termination of your account on the Platform
- Forfeiture of any unused bundle credits
- Inclusion in our internal list of high-risk users, which may affect future purchases
We will cooperate fully with any genuine chargeback investigation conducted by your bank or our payment gateway partner, and will provide transaction records, communication history, and delivery evidence as required.
9. Tax implications
Refunds, where issued, will be for the full amount paid, including applicable taxes (such as Goods and Services Tax). If you have claimed input tax credit on the purchase (in the case of business purchasers), you are responsible for reversing such credit in accordance with applicable tax law.
10. Changes to this Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated Policy will be posted on the Platform with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email. The Policy in effect at the time of your purchase will govern that purchase.
